If you're evaluating any interview practice system, these are the four categories worth tracking.
Structure score - did the student use a consistent response framework across questions, or did their approach shift depending on the question type?
Role competency score - did their answers reflect the specific skills the job description requires, not just general communication ability?
Question-level misses - which specific questions consistently produce weak answers across the cohort? Behavioral questions and "tell me about a time" prompts are where most cohorts drop points.
Improvement over time - are scores moving between session one and session three? If not, the feedback loop isn't working.
These four categories give you enough data to spot curriculum gaps, identify at-risk learners, and show employers what a candidate's preparation actually looked like.
The questions you should be able to answer
A Director of Career Services at a coding bootcamp had no idea her 22-student international cohort was losing points on communication conciseness until she pulled three months of scorecard data in one view. The pattern showed up across the same rubric category for every student in the group. She ran a two-hour workshop the following week. The cohort's average score in that category moved from 2.3 to 2.9 in the next round of sessions.
